Audio Production

This course was a continuation of the course Video Production. With lectures and projects in groups of three students the following aspects were covered.
- Sound design
- Recording voice
- Editing
- Mixing (equalization and dynamic processing)
- Psychoacoustics fundamentals
The projects included:
- Editing Practice: 3 different audio sources and create an audio story, interview, show, or mash up, editing a promo using automation and volume adjustments, editing voice using a prepared file and smoothening it, introducing DSPs with reverb, Doppler effect and panning
- Recording and Editing: record and edit two interviews, produce a 30 second commercial
- Podcast in three episodes including album art, PSA or commercial, sound effects, music, narration, a story and a running theme
