CW 39: Among Us

Everyone's acting kinda sus...

"Among Us" has taken the gaming community by storm (even tho it has been around for more than two years) and so I wasn't safe either. A friend introduced me to the game just a few days ago and needless to say: it's amazing. I had heard about it a few weeks ago but didn't do any more research on it, since it looked kind of too simple and boring, but last week I got it and boy: this is a lot of fun.

The game is very simple: In a group of up to ten people (crewmates) there is a number of impostors, trying to kill the crewmates. The crewmates need to finish several tasks within the spaceship while trying to figure out who the imposters are are. At some point someone is gonna find a dead body lying around somewhere and then the voting starts. The players have some time to chat and see who saw what and who was acting suspicious and finally vote out someone they think is the impostor.

One round gets by super quick, so "Among Us" is perfect for a casual round here and there but also great for hourlong chill gaming nights while listening to great music (like Lauren Jauregui for instance, no i'm still not over her and her music!). The great part about "Among Us" is that you can play it alone with some strangers from all around the world or find a group of people to play with and chat on discord and accuse each other in person. It's super simple and really easy to get into. You will be a bit lost in the first round and probably won't know what to concentrate on but after that it's all just super fun.
